Where did you get your hedgehog from? How much did it cost? I've been looking into getting one.Our hedgehog was a rehome. Someone had adopted 3 hedgehogs at once, then realised they weren’t really cut out for hedgehog ownership
(never do this)
We paid a hundred bucks or so for her, but if you’ve never had a hedgehog before definitely go through a breeder. My husband has had hedgehogs before, so he was ok taking on our difficult spiney creature.

I've always wanted a hedgehog do you think they are good pets? They’re good pets if you’ve got the right attitude. It’s easy to take care of a hedgehog (but more work than our ball python, who is the easiest pet ever). But if you’re expecting a pet who is affectionate, you aren’t necessarily going to get that from a hedgehog. Ours likes bellyrubs, but isn’t thrilled about being pet… you have to spend a lot of time with them so they’ll warm up to you!
